Walker's Deal Got Adjusted
We all knew that Walker's knees were starting to give him trouble. Shira Springer reports that it was enough of a concern that it jeapordized the trade and his contract had to be altered to get it done. Bob Sugar,... I mean Mark Bartelstein was in full damage control mode with some of his quotes, refusing to admit that they gave up guaranteed years to get it done.
The article also confirms the C's interest in signing Dickau. ''He's a veteran presence," said Ainge. ''He's been around. He really got some good experience last year. I've always liked him. I liked him in college [at Gonzaga]. Bartelstein also represents Dickau. Anyone see a trend here?
