With Marco (Polo) going to the TWolves.
Is this the precursor to a Pierce trade? Unlikely. It's more likely that it is plan B. I would imagine that if they couldn't get Pierce for a Maggette/Jaric swap, they went with option B that gets them a 1 year placeholder at PG (while Livingston develops) and a first round pick to boot.
If you like Jaric, it's a good trade for both teams. I'm not much of a fan of him, so I'm just glad that neither he nor Cassell are coming here.
