Or We Could Just Go Young
Well, apparently not too many of you fell for my devils advocate ploy with the whole Chad Ford Tribute thing. Perhaps I can get a rise out of you on this.
Forget competing this year, what harm could it be to just go young and see what happens? Just let Walker walk and bring LaFrentz and Blount (occasionally) come off the bench. Start Pierce, but make sure all the kids get enough run to make them solid vets for next year (including Green).
1. West, Banks, Greene
2. Allen, Davis, Green
3. Pierce, Reed, Gomes
4. Jefferson, Raef, Veal
5. Perkins, Blount
Who knows, maybe we can win with this group. Regardless, they'd have more experience and the cap situation doesn't look to bad for a while.
