Now What?
The draft is over. There was no blockbuster Paul Pierce trade (and we still nabbed Gerald Green). There were no promises (that we know of). We didn't draft a PG until the 53rd pick. We got two of the biggest steals of the draft on a couple of inexplicable sliders. So now that that drama is over, what can we look forward to for the rest of the offseason? Plenty.

Think about Danny's checklist:

1. Draft - check
2. Use Mid Level Exception on a Free Agent
3. Make a decision on Antoine Walker
4. Evaluate potential trades
5. Oversee the Summer League and young player devlopment
6. Install butt-kicking machine in Blount's locker

If I had to make a prediction, I'd say we are going to make at least one mid-sized trade (not involving Pierce) and wait until the big fish free agents get signed to make a move using the MLE. Once Cleveland and company spend their money, the guys left over that were hoping for the big bucks will have to look for a good fit at the MLE. Danny said he wants a better shooting frontcourt player and some depth at PG.

It is going to be a fun summer.
