Buy Low, Sell High
Want some warm fuzzies about the Celtics not trading Paul Pierce? Here's your biggest reason to hope. Nobody wants him. Despite coming off his best statistical season, I honestly think that Ricky Davis has a better rep right now than Paul. Some of that is deserved, some of it is overblown. Lets hope that Paul uses this as fuel to motivate him to get even better, instead of the potion to turn him into Mr. Hyde.

Speaking of buying low and selling high, I think Danny might find a taker or two for Davis. As much as I like him, I tend to feel that you can always find talented 2 guards in the draft. Ricky's value is at an all time high. If you can deal him to fill a need, you do it. When you are thinking of who Danny might target, think of guys that have upside, but are down on their luck or in a bad situation right now.

I'd like to pick from the shopping cart that is the LA Clippers right now. Mike Dunleavy could be had for a song and dance. Sacramento is a team in transition so... Ahhh, had you going there for a second didn't I? I'm stealing this line from someone on our message boards (I forget who):

"You fell victim to one of the classic blunders, the most famous of which is "Never get involved in a land war in Asia", but only slightly less well known is this: "Never go into trade negotiations with Geoff Petrie when salary cap is on the line.". Hahahahahah"
