Pierce Not For Sale
BostonHerald.com: "New Orleans has been shopping Baron Davis around the league, and you might think there'd be a fit here with Gary Payton having spoken about leaving.
League sources, however, say the Hornets mentioned Paul Pierce when they talked to the Celts. End of discussion. . . . " Update: To me this confirms 2 things:
1. Celtics were at least somewhat interested in Baron Davis
2. Paul Pierce still has a high price tag in trade talks
