Not Shopping Ricky, but...
According to today's Globe, Ainge laughed off the Davis and Walker rumors: Executive director of basketball operations Danny Ainge got a chuckle when reading Internet reports that he is shopping Ricky Davis and working to reacquire Antoine Walker. While Ainge will not comment on trade rumors, someone who looked a lot like him indicated there was no truth to either one A West coast source is backing up the fact that they want to keep Davis and Doc is very happy with Payton. Players that are more available include Jiri, Marcus, Yogi, Googs, and maybe even Waltah. Nothing earth shattering there, but it gives an indication on how the team is leaning in the Ricky vs. Jiri debate (which seemed so even at the beginning of the year).
