May Kicks Walker While He's Down
ESPN.com - NBA - May: The free fall of Antoine Walker Leo Papile, the Celtics' director of basketball operations, described Walker as "a power forward without the power." Now that's funny.
In other news, Frank Hughes doesn't like the Knicks' moves nearly as much as Chad Ford. He puts a lot of emphasis on the players' lack of playoff experience or success. That may be a bit misleading because good players have been known to play for bad teams, but there is an underwhelming feel about that roster that I can't quite put my finger on. I'm sure the New York fans will be patient and understanding if it doesn't work out.
In case anyone missed our tongue-in-cheek take on Basketball Sportswriters, feel free to read my post titled "The Yoricks" on SportsRant.net (the seldom updated sister site to this blog).
