Done Deal - Payton A Celtic
Its done.
An NBA source told ESPN.com's Bill Simmons that the Celtics have dealt Chris Mihm (in a sign-and-trade), guard Marcus Banks, forward Chucky Atkins and a future second-round pick to Los Angeles for Payton, Rick Fox and a lottery-protected first-round draft pick.

Boston also receives cash in the deal, ESPN.com has confirmed through a high-ranking Celtics source
Bill Simmons already has his take.

I don't like losing Banks, but if West really is the stud that Simmons is saying he is, then I'm ok with this. Worst case would be Payton not working out so we either trade him at the deadline or let him walk and take the cap flexibility.

Also, if Simmons has a source in the organization, his hinting at Davis being next could be very telling. Is Shareef Abdur-Rahim involved? Stay tuned.
