The Truth Is, He's Clutch

Clutch: adj. Tending to be successful in tense or critical situations.

Paul is now tied for the league lead in go-ahead winning baskets with under a minute left. He's done it 3 times in the last 3 games. This is a very good time to start getting hot. What's more is that the play before that one, he passed out to a wide open Raef LaFrentz (who missed the 3) rather than force up a bad shot in traffic.

You could say that Paul regressed last year and struggled to get on track at the start of this year. But you cannot tell me that this guy hasn't regained the form that put him on the map of NBA all stars.

He's the MVP of this team, he's learned a lot of lessons along the way, and he's the most clutch player we have.

Credit also his teammates who all came up big, almost to a man. Walker finished with 15 rebounds and 8 assists. Al Jefferson topped his career high with 19 points. Ricky, Raef, Marcus, and Perk all had solid games.

But tonight, the spotlight shines on Paul and he made us proud. That's one step closer.
