Other Teams' News
Looks like the Shareef to New Jersey deal could fall through(again). Hassell signing could kill the trade if Minnesotta doesn't match the offer. Anything that blocks New Jersey from getting better is good news to me.

The signing of Hassell likely kills a proposed trade the Blazers were working on with New Jersey Nets that would have sent Shareef Abdur-Rahim to the Nets in return for Kerry Kittles and Aaron Williams. With recent aquiree Nick Van Exel and Hassell in the backcourt, the Blazers probably don't need a fifth guard.

Also, if you haven't heard, Walker is making noises about wanting out of Dallas. Everyone in the NBA would love to play for Mark Cuban, yet this guy couldn't humble himself and play within the system to make his teammates better. I will always hold a place in my heart for the Walker Wiggle, but I'm becoming increasingly glad that he's not in Boston anymore.

Update: Nets are turning their eyes on Wilcox of the Clippers and maybe Stromile Swift. Also, they might even call up Eddie Griffin again.
